Criss-cross Cirrus - Rocky Mountain Park
Cirrus clouds streak patterns over Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. These strange patterns began as airplane contrails at two different altitudes with different wind directions in the upper troposphere. Wind shear smeared them out with time, giving them this criss-cross cirrus appearance.
